Smart Home and Industrial Robotics

From smart factories to smart homes, our meta-optics allow the machine vision systems inside robots to see more clearly than ever before, improving the performance and capabilities of a wide variety of robotic applications.

Optics for Robotics and Machine Vision

Sensors and algorithms have seen tremendous improvements over the past several decades but optics fundamentally have not changed. Our meta-optics allow richer and more precise information to enter these systems, ultimately enabling better, faster decisions for robotics and machine vision systems.

AR/VR

AR/VR systems utilize two main optical sensing architectures. One to map the room where the system is being operated, typically with time-of-flight (ToF). The other to track the user’s eyes. Critical metrics of success in developing a high-performance headset include compact form factor and minimal weight. Meta-optics can reduce the size and weight of imaging systems and reduce the form factor of illumination systems, leading to a more immersive user experience.
